Hoyhtya Named Crookston Rotary Student of the Month
Amber Hoyhtya, a senior majoring in early childhood education at UMC, was named the Crookston Rotary Club's UMC Student of the Month for March 2004. She addressed the group at their noon meeting on Thursday, March 25. She is from Crookston and will complete her degree requirements in December of 2004.

Early Childhood Carnival Set for April 8
Members of the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Early Childhood Club will host their Sixth Annual Parent-Child Carnival on Tuesday, April 8, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lincoln School in Crookston.  The event coincides with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child.

Early Childhood Development Center Groundbreaking
All members of the UMC community were invited to a "Groundbreaking Celebration" for the new construction of the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) on the UMC campus Wednesday, May 5th, 1999.
