Undergraduate Programs
Through collaboration between University
of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) and
University of Minnesota, Duluth (UMD),
you can earn a Bachelor of Applied Science
degree in Psychology by taking advanced
psychology courses online through UMD.
Liberal education, other general courses,
and beginning psychology courses can be
taken on campus at UMC.
The program provides the same curricular
requirements and rigor of the regular oncampus
psychology degree program at
UMD.
This provides the advantages of staying on
the UMC campus while earning a UMD
psychology degree.
The UMD psychology degree provides
students with a firm grounding in
methods, history, and content areas of the
discipline. Graduates are prepared for
graduate study leading to advanced degrees
in psychology or for paraprofessional
positions requiring some application of research or human service delivery skills.
Degree option
Bachelors of Applied Science in Psychology (B.A.S.)
The B.A.S. program requires 120 semester credits and integrates liberal education with UMC on-campus courses and online Psychology courses from Duluth.
