The music minor allows students to develop a concentrated course of
studies in the area of music while pursuing a major in another area.
It is primarily for students who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree
at UMC and who are able to complete the music coursework over a period
of at least four years. Students completing the minor may pursue opportunities
in teaching beginning to intermediate piano lessons, playing church
organ, directing volunteer choirs, directing community musicals, etc.
The minor complements all UMC major degree programs. |
